My son went to this place for a birthday party, he liked it, but says it smells very bad (might have to do with it being a farm). They made a cake for the birthday boy. He had a lot of fun.

Located along Cherry Creek, the Four Mile House is Denver's oldest house, dating to 1859. If you are all interested in history, you need to check this place out. Be sure to check their calender for special events, when they will have plenty of volunteers to show, and even guide you through, daily life from the days before the horseless carraige and telegraph. Be sure to also go when there are no events going on, so you can have a more extensive, more liesurely tour of the house and grounds. Whenever you go, check out the gift shop before you leave. There you will find the variety of books that you would expect, plus various vintage snacks that are very hard to find elsewhere. There are other items as well, that I leave unmentioned so they can surprise you when you go.
