Every staff member is dedicated to not only the education of our children, but also their safety, wellbeing and happiness. I have 2 kids here, 1st and 4th. Our parent community is by and large a supportive one, with an active PTCO and other parent groups. What parents really should look at is whether or not their children are making adequate gains, are encouraged and motivated by their teachers, and are given opportunities to develop their interests and strengths. The faculty is very attentive to our children's needs as well as ours as parents. We will be moving this summer and hope to find a school that is as great as Sunrise. We moved here on purpous because of the school district. The Reading Academy & O.T. are WONDERFUL! If you are thinking about moving to this area & are concerned about the tax base it is worth every penny simply for the schools.
