Arapahoe High School Reviews

My family has found Arapahoe to be a great school. The principal, Ron Booth, is a motivatiing and innovative leader. My first child graduated with honors and will finish college in only three years because of his excellent preparation at AHS. My second is thriving there too. There is something for all.

My son attends AHS and I do volunteer work a cross section of students from AHS. My overall opinion of AHS is that it's a very good school and offers lots of opportunities through general academics, AP classes, sports, music, & drama. The teachers are among the best in the state and relate well with students. My one negitive comment would be regarding the principal. I disagree with the another review regarding Mr. Booths relationship with the students. My son's experience as well as comments from other students with whom I work paint a very different picture. My opinion is Mr. Booth is more interested in stats, image, and ratings then the student. He weeds out students who don't do well and works the system to make AHS come out on top. It is a great school but credit is due to the teachers and students, not Mr. Booth.

We have choiced into AHS because of its great reputation: and it has lived up to it. Ron Booth runs a tight ship and the kids are respected. Excellent!

I love this school my daughter goes here and she always comes home with a smile on. She says her teachers are the best in the world, also very helpful, she can look to them for help without being afraid. She has also become more active with sports and clubs, Arapahoe encourages this by offering evry time of sport and club you could imagine. She also love her principal Ron Booth, he is so into knowing how his students are doing, he wants everyone to feel welcome, he does that by listening. Ron Booth treats the students as if they were his own, he feels what parents feel when a child gets a bad grade,Ron Booth is there with feelings of hope and always helpfulness for a student. Arapahoe is the number one school in the distict and the attitudes and acedemic level of the students show that 100%.
