Baker Elementary School Reviews

This school has been a great place for my grandson to learn. The teachers have worked with us on getting B into a class and grade where he can learn and accell.

Baker is a wonderful school with a feeling of being surrounded by family. The staff work well together, the students are freindly, and everyone is willing to help others out where help is needed by starting up necessary tutoring, ESL classes, Mother/Father classes, Spanish classes and much more. I believe one of the most important parts of a school is for a child to feel Baker is known for this and for problem solving. I believe it's an excellent school.

Baker is a wonderful school. The staff is caring, our new principal Wolcott is well educated in his field & serious about our children & his staff. Baker is made up of approximately 75% Spanish speaking students. We have ESL classes (English as a 2nd Language) programs, Los Padres/Las Madres classes, a new PTA committe made up of english, spanish & bilingual members. Academically Baker has struggled CSAP-wise but I personally don't believe in CSAP as a basis for testing. I think our students are as bright as any other school students. They fill our school with great ideas, laughter & we have serious learners. The staff is a great support to parents & their children. Baker always puts something together to bring parents closer to their children & school. We have a wonderful music teacher, physical ed teacher Mr. E (who has also won medals in track). All in all Baker is #1.
