Aurora Quest Academy Reviews

I went to this school and i have to say these teachers knew what they were doing. The staff is really nice but they do have ways of dealing with bad kids like in school suspention. Take it from someone who went there this place is really good.

I went to this school and it was excellent the teachers were nice, the staff was always happy, and our principal Mrs. Williams was always caring about our needs. I reccomend this school to everyone.

This school is a blessing to families with GT kids. The philosophy of the schools centers around some of the specific traits that GT kids have. By knowing the traits and characteristics of these kids, the school can nurture them and help them grow more fully than in a 'traditional' school. The school has high academic standards and is one of the highest performing schools in the state. The students are academically prepared for middle school and even high school. These students do incredible things! Also, the school offers many extras (such as chess club, Spanish club, Drama, Roots and Shoots) which are provided by an outstanding parental volunteers. Huge parent involvement and fantastic teachers and principal. We have loved our years here.

This is a great school. I am please with the quality of education my son is receiving. The teachers and principal care about each student's success.

My daughter went to this school the first year it opened. Granted, there are always problems in the first year, however, it seemed that there were areas that they were not interested in changing. Too much self esteem. Not enough basic core curriculum type education. Too much child-first point of view style. The teachers felt it was more important to make the kids feel SPECIAL than to educate and instill them with true sense of accomplishment. We do not know currently how they have improved these concerns, but we seriously doubt they have. Discipline was not something they were comfortable with. If a child did something bad they were sent to the guidance counsilor to 'work out' their problems, instead of being made to see that what they were doing was wrong. No black and white values in this school at the time we attended.
