However, some very important things do fall through the cracks and even though intentions are good..follow through can be lacking. Parents tend to be clickish and it makes participation very uncomfortable. Going to your child's grade school shouldn't feel like going back to highschool! Parent participation sometimes leaves a lot to be desired, but the education and the spirit of the school are more than I dreamed of. They have a GT program that starts in Kindergarten and also offer 2 full day K classes. Children are encouragd to treat each other with respect and still have lots of fun. The effort the teachers are placing in enhancing the kids experience at schools is commendable.” Posted By: parent Quality Score: 5 2007-10-13 “Redstone's administrative and teaching staff have all proven to be both highly experienced, patient, and proactive in the development of the children's education and social nurturing. There is an extremely active PTO program and tons of activities for families to stay involved. There is an air of happiness as soon as you walk through the doors. Our children are thriving there and we can't imagine being anywhere else. The school is on a track system which goes year round. It allows our family more quality time together throughout the school year as we have 3 week breaks 4 times a year instead of one long summer break. Redstone also was awarded the ranking of Excellent by the State of Colorado this past year. Their motto is 'Reaching Every Child Every Day' and they mean it. We love Redstone!”
